Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I can hardly believe how fast the Christmas season flew by this year!
The end of November and beginning of December were marked with Handel's Messiah and Mozart's Requiem at A&P (Not stellar performances, but we made it through none the less). I was also asked, for the first time to sing with the Studio de Musique Ancienne de Montreal who also performed the Messiah. These concerts were swiftly followed by rehearsals and the performances of the annual CBC Sing-In and Carols by Candlelight which both went off without a hitch. The Christmas choral season ended with a bang for me personally by the midnight mass service. I was asked to sing several consecutive recitatives and the Rejoice aria from the Messiah as solos. It was incredible! I wish the service were available on line... Fret not Mater and Pater I'll get a recording!
Christmas morning (after staying up all night) I caught the 7:30am bus to Toronto and then on to Hamilton to spend the week with Allie's family. I had a blast!! I can't believe how fast the girls are growing (and how much ceaseless energy they have!). We have now successfully taught Paigie to say her name, including adding a growl to it... So Cute! She completes the hilarity of it by saying in the same growly tone how she "wants the precious". Priceless!!! Allie and I got an enormous amount of quality time together shopping, gossiping and eating! It was a success all round I think :P
After hopping on a bus mid morning yesterday, I got home late in the evening, but early enough to get reacquainted with my own surroundings, sleep and get up for work this morning. Quite the events! But it's only the calm before the real storm in exactly 2 weeks!! It's a good thing I love to travel, I only wish I got frequent flier miles on bus travel...

Ditto the above comment (not really, for we have been in touch)! But it's good to read of all the things you've been up to. We are really looking forward to seeing you soon! Lots of love! xoxox
