Flowers and Frost

Busy, busy, busy! That is the summary of life in Narnia at the moment... It is half term week in the UK which means choral duties have tripled for this week. Concerts are all around the corner, the first being this weekend at Exeter College with the Arcadian Singers and the rest staggered between this weekend and Easter weekend.
Between rehearsals I've been taking advantage of the peculiarly warm weather we've been having and spending at least an hour in the garden weeding every day. Mark and I even had lunch outside a couple of times last week! More importantly however we completely cleaned out the side shed! Anyone who has visited here in the past may not have noticed the little garden shed/closet off the patio, but it hadn't been given an elbow grease cleaning an a couple of decades... We went as far as to play with the power washer :P
In the last couple of days the temperature has dropped significantly! Yesterday morning we woke up to find the most beautifully fog with everything covered in a little bit of frost. It was quite the change from budding daffodils, but seasonally beautiful none the less. I shall have to wait a little before getting back to the weeds, but there is more than enough singing to do to keep trouble at bay for this week ;)

Visiting Puppy

For the last two weeks we've been collectively dog-sitting a 10 month old spaniel puppy...
Let me emphazise the term puppy! Certainly a change in energy from our 14 year old labrador. During one of his midday walks it began to rain so hard, it turned to hale! By the time he came back he was soaked to the bone!!
He's been a great help to Mum, making sure that she takes time to nap on a daily basis ;)Unfortunately everything to him is a chew toy, including random garbage, underwear and my computer wire... Since it was plugged in at the time, it's a good thing he didn't get any kind of shock!
