Playing

Despite burning my hand on the oven today while making muffins and Aunt Barbara's casserole, I finally managed to get a decent photo of my boys! I'm having so much fun with my new camera that I think they might try to hijack it in the night and hold it for ransom.
Does anyone know how to stitch, while drinking frothy coffee and hold an ice pack at the same time?

Under construction

As I'm sure you've seen in the last week or so that I've been renovating this blog. I think I've finally come up with something I like, but who knows, it may change again... Feel free now to play with the links at the top, and let me know if there are any enormous problems. This site is optimized in Mozilla because IE is frustratingly dumb! So if you don't have Mozilla GET IT!!!!

My new friends!

Back in the ranks

Today was my first day back at church and tomorrow is my first day back at work. Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to be -20... Watch me grim like a syncro swimmer...
While waiting for the metro on my way home from church all I could think was "I'm not in Narnia anymore"! Being accosted by people who don't know metro protocol and busker offending my ears, turning my "Korn" up louder was all I could do from screaming GO AWAY!!!
Now I'm safely sheltered at home with both kitties and a cup of frothy coffee, watching Dr. Who and enjoying the last few moments before reentering the Mtl 9-5 rat race. Not that I don't love my job, I was just enjoying the calmer pace of life too much. The rest of my day with probably consist of a nap, some stitching, and more frothy coffee. :P

In one piece!

Since the last post I've travelled the Atlantic ocean and back.As my Mum would say, the thing you do when you're young... I left the colonies after a snow storm and arrive in the land of luscious green. I did in fact see snow while I was there, but it didn't last very long. I spent time bell ringing, stitching and trying to stay warm by the fire!
While I was over there Mum's latest "toy" arrived... I felt that it might look better with pretty little racing stripes! The idea later morphed in "Pimpin' Mum's Zimma" :P Pauly would be proud!!
Muhahaha!!!
Now that I'm home, I'm trying to reorient myself with life in the FREEZING COLD!!! I liked living in the plus digits! Snuggling with the kitties should help though ;)
