Today was the second day of sun that Montreal has seen since May... But this being Wednesday means JULEPPING!! Apparently all the muscle car owners thought so too. Wuhoo!! Pauly and I walked around for hours drooling over Corvettes, Mustangs, GTOs and Ferrari's. One of our favorites for tonight was a blue "angry" Mustang Boss. At one point the irritating man with the microphone asked all the drivers to rev their engines in a "Car Symphony", Pauly and I could hardly believe our ears. The Boss proved he
was the boss with the most aggressive and angry sounding 351 horse power engine. Oh how it drives me wild! The other favorite was a beautiful silver Charger. Pauly was obsessed with the lines of the car. I still say they look like the curves of a woman. ;)

Earlier in the day I went on the second fieldtrip for my Art through religion class to the St. Joseph's Oratory. We shlepped up the stairs to the crypt where I was unexpectedly greeted by the organist, who I met through a recording project in September. Our class then climbed more stairs to the garden with the stations of the cross. I never knew there was such a beautiful view of the city and now I know where to take any tourist that come to Montreal! Finally we climbed the last set of stairs to the church. I was overwhelmed by the scent of damp rock, which always reminds me of Great Tew church.
This past Sunday I was fortunate enough to be adopted by Pauly's family for dinner. It was so nice to get out of the city! Pauly took me on a road trip around the area and then we got to visit his parents' horses. Both of which are beautiful!! Dutchess, Pauly's mum's horse showed me her talent for sucking on carrots... :P Then we met the two goats living in the backyard aka the Goat Condo. Thank you Pauly!!
As always Thanks JESS!!! You are the silver lining to every black cloud, even when I'm surrounded by a ceaseless storm.
